Red River Army Depot commander Col. Denis Fajardo visited veterans at Texarkana’s Elks Lodge 2771 during their monthly breakfast. He thanked them for their service and support before sharing updates on the Department of Defense’s proposed drone manufacturing program.
Fajardo said the project is still in the planning stage, with input coming from industry partners as preparations ramp up. He added the depot not only expects to launch the drone program in the near future but also continues to provide hundreds of other programs that support the community.
